Keeping Occupied [Video/Offline]

[Thanks to the rain, Alex has been laying low at home today. Rain was bittersweet nowadays. Every once in a while, she caught herself thinking about Mason when it rained. After all, standing in the rain on Waverly Place was the first time she'd shared a kiss with her werewolf boyfriend.

[Thanks to her PCD, she can be seen sitting in the windowsill of her room, pointing her wand outside. She's filling invisible magic bubbles with rain water and letting them drop. Onto the pavement, onto small creatures, and perhaps onto you! One of her favorite things to do with Mason was throw water balloons at unsuspecting victims who happened to be wandering down Waverly Place. Oh, what fun!]

Hnhnheheheh! That was a good one.

[Have yo been hit with a water bubble? Feel free to yell at this young whipper snapper.]

Not really. It doesn't really go back far enough to do anything drastic. But it does mess with people's heads. Humans and people who don't use magic always feel like whatever just happened has happened before. Kinda like world-wide deja-vou.

[She nods, familiar with that sort of thing. There are some pieces of magic from her world that can momentarily confuse Muggles.]

Right. I see. That makes sense.

[She gives a smile. It's nice to talk with another wizard finally.]

Hey! Wanna see something cool?

[She's curious about what 'something cool' entails.]

Sure, I suppose.

[Grinning, Alex rushes to a window and looks out, spotting a few people walking around outside.]

Hold your head like this.
[She demonstrates by placing her hands on her ears, as if holding them from floating away.]

[She turns her attention to the window again.]
You see that guy over there?

[She looks out the window and then nods, wondering what this is all about.]

[Alex raises her hands again, holding her head like before.]

Cranium Revolvis.

[The head on the guy on the street began to rotate around his body, 360º, spinning about two or three times. She grins, looking over at Hermione as her head spun as well.]

[What the...? Okay, not funny. Not funny at all. When her head got back on straight, well.]

[She grins, unfazed by the little glare she gets from Hermione.]

Hey, I tried to warn you!
[The other wizard will probably feel a little disoriented, a dull pain in her neck as if she'd slept on it funny.]

[Hermione lets out an aggravated sigh as her head finally sets back on straight. Yes, a little disorientation and a small pain had ensued. But she keeps that little glare in her eyes.

... She has no sense of humor.]

Yeah, the same thing happened to my brother.
The one who turned himself into a sandwich.

That's reassuring.

[Which is said... slightly sarcastically? Just a little.]

And you know why?

[She puts her hands up again, holding the sides of her head with an 'I told you so' look.]

[Hey, that's Hermione's job. But all the same, she'll mimic Alex. On the off chance that what just happened will happen again.]

Why?

[She didn't perform the spell again, but she quirked an eyebrow.]

Because he didn't do this.

I see. ... Well, I suppose I'll keep in in mind. For future reference.

That's all I ask.

Are there any other... similar spells... you know?

Hm. I bet I can think of one or two. Gimme some time to remember them.

All right. I'd be interested to see when you do.

[She has to admit, these are interesting spells. If not a little different from what she's used to. But, hey, any educational opportunity is a good one!]
